What kind of advantages has the use of a elasto-plastic joining material ? 

It is known that all structures show more or less important movements over the years, because of soil or load condition, earthquakes or temperature influence. All this results in deformations and construction joints can get opened. In such cases the BFL-Mastix bands assure the waterproofness of the joints. The BFL-Mastix bands have been designed and developed to absorb structural movements up to several millimetres (0.1 to 5 mm). On a temperature scale from -20 °C to +40 °C(-4 °F to +104 °F), measured on the bands, the BFL-Mastix bands can adapt to the different movements at external temperatures ranging from -40°C to +60°C (-40°F to +140°F).
